On 2 July 1952, Princess Beatrix opened Madurodam. But from day one it has always been more than just a theme park that shows off the best of the Netherlands. It was founded as a living memorial for George Maduro, a war hero and as a means of raising money for charities. Now, Madurodam is also a unique venue for events.

Inspiration
At Madurodam you have the Netherlands at your feet. This provides great inspiration for events. We would love to help you think of special ways to link your event to the park. For example, create a route past the Dutch landmarks that are important to your organisation or suggest things you can link to during your event.
Large groups
Every year in Madurodam we welcome between 600,000 and 650,000 visitors. As a result, we know how to cater for large groups. We will take care of everything and exceed your expectations.
