Unique location

On 2 July 1952, Princess Beatrix opened Madurodam. But from day one it has always been more than just a theme park that shows off the best of the Netherlands. It was founded as a living memorial for George Maduro, a war hero and as a means of raising money for charities. Now, Madurodam is also a unique venue for events.

Inspiration

At Madurodam you have the Netherlands at your feet. This provides great inspiration for events. We would love to help you think of special ways to link your event to the park. For example, we can park a car with your company logo in the park, create a route past the Dutch landmarks that are important to your organisation or suggest things you can link to during your event.

Large groups

Every year in Madurodam we welcome between 60,000 and 650,000 visitors. As a result, we know how to cater for large groups. We will take care of everything and exceed your expectations.

Different rooms

We have 8 multifunctional rooms and can therefore cater for corporate and festive events with up to 1,200 guests. All rooms have modern furnishings, featuring professional theatre lighting and a Bose sound system. The rooms are screened off from the park, so you won’t have to mingle with the park’s visitors. Furthermore, the function rooms offer views over the Netherlands! And if you want to take some time to relax during an event, you can take a stroll through the park. All guests have free access during an event.

Eating and drinking

An event is only a real success once everyone has had plenty of delicious food and drinks. Our chef and his team do everything to ensure this is the case. They can provide you with anything from a good buffet to a gourmet dinner. Of course, everything will be tailored to your budget and the size of the company. Event prices include drinks, so you won’t have any unpleasant surprises. Furthermore, we take dietary requirements into account, such as halal, vegetarian, kosher and gluten-free. If you need any guidance, our event managers would be happy to help you plan the perfect dinner.

Easily accessible

Madurodam is easily accessible by public transport from Den Haag Centraal and Den Haag HS train stations. Madurodam is a 10-minute bus or tram ride from either of these stations. Furthermore, Madurodam has its own car park with 500 spaces. Parking costs € 8.50 per day. For events with over 200 people attending, parking is free.

Charities

Since 1952, Madurodam has donated its annual income of between 600,000 and 1 million euros to children's charities. In that time, Madurodam has donated more than 32 million euros through the Madurodam Children's Fund.
