85 colleagues came together at Madurodam for a day filled with connection, knowledge sharing and meaningful encounters. With employees working across the Netherlands, moments like these are especially valuable.
A venue that reflects the organisation
For Haute Equipe, choosing Madurodam was a natural decision. Not only because of its central location and excellent accessibility, but especially because of the combination of social impact and unique experience.
The event took place in the Madurodam Hall, the Foyer and throughout the park itself. This created space for inspiring sessions, informal conversations and shared activities. The variety of settings encouraged colleagues to connect with each other in a natural and relaxed way.
Kaylee Colijn: “It was wonderful to be together with all colleagues again at a venue that took care of everything, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the event.”
Creating an event that brings people together
From the very beginning of the planning process, the focus was on the main objective of the day: bringing colleagues closer together. That is why the team chose The Great Escape, an interactive team-building activity throughout the park.
Divided into eleven teams, colleagues worked together to complete challenges and escape Madurodam as quickly as possible — with great success. The activity became one of the highlights of the day, together with the connections created during the opening plenary session, lunch and drinks reception.
Kaylee Colijn: “Colleagues really enjoyed being back at Madurodam. Many people had not visited for years and loved experiencing the park again.”
Fully supported from start to finish
From the first preparations onwards, the Haute Equipe team felt supported by Madurodam’s event team through proactive thinking, quick communication and flexibility.
Kaylee Colijn: “The team really thought along with us. They came up with ideas themselves, showed a proactive approach and communication was excellent.”
On the day itself, everything ran smoothly. Guests were warmly welcomed and guided throughout the event, adjustments to the programme were easily accommodated and the spacious layout ensured the event felt personal rather than overwhelming.

At the end of the day, Haute Equipe achieved exactly what they had hoped for: colleagues felt more connected, knowledge was shared and everyone returned home with renewed energy and focus.
